Reviews and Ratings
My stay at the hotel was truly magnificent. The rooms were perfect with a separate twin room for the kids, and I loved the special label on the door - 'The English Lady's room'. The historical charm of the rooms, except for the modern bathroom, was enchanting. The sweet touch of roses, leaves, and heart-shaped chocolates made me feel truly pampered.
The hotel's location is marvelous, close to nature and incredible views. However, the rooms fell short of five-star standards, feeling a bit greyish. The dining experience was fantastic with high-quality food, but the outside area was a bit untidy.
I couldn't get enough of the classic and beautiful rooms towards the lake side; it felt like stepping into history. The service, despite being undertrained, had some lovely touches like welcome drinks and pet amenities. The location was superb, although a bit of a let down with the outside area being somewhat untidy. Dining was simply fantastic with its homemade ingredients and local ecological food. The facilities were outstanding, with everything I needed for a comfortable stay.
I had a delightful stay at the hotel with its charming rooms overlooking the park and gardens, although I found the service to be undertrained. The location by the large lake Bandak was wonderful, but the outside area could have been tidier. Dining was a fantastic experience with homemade ingredients, but the price could have been a bit better. The facilities were top-notch with pet amenities available.
The hotel had classic and beautiful rooms in a historic setting with views of the garden and the lake. The dining experience was a mix of exquisite flavors, despite interruptions from guests. The location was fantastic, close to shops and with friendly staff. The dining area offered high-quality local food. The facilities were convenient but slightly disorganized.
I had a wonderful stay at the hotel. The rooms were gorgeous, with a surprise history telling element that really added to the experience. The service was pleasant overall, but there were some areas where improvement could be made. The location by the large lake Bandak was incredible, offering breathtaking views, though the outside area was a bit untidy. The dining experience was simply fantastic, especially with the selection of homemade ingredients. The facilities were top-notch, enhancing my overall enjoyment of the stay.
The hotel offers classic and beautiful rooms, but with thin walls that may affect the warmth and privacy. The service is a mixed bag with some highlights but lacks the expected attention to detail. The location is superb, near shops and with outstanding views of Bandak Lake. Dining is fantastic though a bit disorganized. Overall, the facilities are decent but could be improved.
I had a delightful time at the hotel, especially enjoying the beautiful lake and garden views from my room. The dining hall was cozy, and the history behind The English Lady's room added a charming touch. However, there were some service hiccups like the staff pointing out overpriced wine and empty breakfast trays. The location was exceptional, with easy access to the Telemark canal and the serene Lake Bandak.
The hotel overlooks the lake and gardens, providing a serene setting. The rooms felt a bit greyish, which was a downside, but the location is marvelous close to nature. The dining experience was simply fantastic with homemade ingredients, although a bit disorganized at times.
The hotel offered a romantic room with thoughtful touches like roses, a balcony overlooking the grand garden and the lake, and heart-shaped chocolates for a cozy stay. Unfortunately, the hallway was a bit far from our room. The service was incredibly warm and accommodating, with nice old cars parked by the front and small white aprons for the women, making our tea experience special. The location was lovely, within walking distance of shops along Telemark canal, but the outside area was a bit untidy near the large lake Bandak. The dining experience was simply fantastic with homemade ingredients, though slightly disorganized. The facilities were top-notch, offering high-quality food with local specialties and impressive views. Value for money was fair despite minor inconveniences.
